Kesha's 'Your Love is My Drug

Kesha's latest video is "Your Love is My Drug." It's the third video from the singer's debut album Animal.

The video has Kesha in a California desert "tripping" over her love. As the lyrics would suggest, we see her acting a bit crazy, there are animal masks and glow in the dark body paint (the same look as her questionable Saturday Night Live performance).

The clip even takes a short animated turn with a Beatles "Yellow Submarine" inspired sequence. Kesha told MTV that she wanted the video "to be like a psychedelic trip of the mind, comparable with being so disgustingly in love with someone that you lose your head." Borrowing from this particular animation style adds some life to an otherwise bland video, and it's also a way of referencing something many would associate with drugs in a TV friendly way.

Overall it's not her best effort, however the video succeeds in it's casting. Yes, the man playing the object of her affection does indeed have a beard.
