Celebrity hairstylist Angela Christine Stevens moved from Chicago to Hollywood to bring glamour—and drama!—to the WE tv’sL.A. Hair, a reality TV show which focuses on the elite Kim Kimble Salon in Hollywood. ON THE SHOW “It was truly a blessing and an honor to be able to work under someone who’s as accomplished and established as Kim Kimble. You have to be on the go and ready for whatever challenge is going to come. The first week I worked there I did Beyonce’s hair.”

ON CHICAGO HAIR “Chicago hair is neater than L.A. hair—everything is placed a certain way and curls are tighter. In California hair is more windblown and wispy. Chicago people want their hair to look like, ‘I just came from the salon, can’t you tell?’”

ON HAIRCARE “Rosemary oil is the best. You just put it on your scalp and you deep condition with it for 20 or 30 minutes. If you have problems with thinning hair or hair loss, which is something that’s really plaguing a lot of people, try rosemary oil.”
